Biography
Neal H. Levin is a sustainability
strategist, crafting Greenprints for sustainable designs and
providing the messaging for these initiatives through branding
and marketing campaigns. With initiatives centering on
everything from material design, energy, water and waste, high
performance buildings, operations, transportation and social
issues including employee vitality and community engagement,
Mr. Levin creates genuine designs centered on environmental
and social responsibility that reduce costs and increase
value.
Through The SKAN Project, Mr. Levin provides consulting
services that range from internal audits to the materials and
technologies to be employed towards energy, water and waste
efficiencies. The SKAN Project also designs social programs,
stimulates relationships and develops philanthropy programs
that work to engage and increase productivity of employees and
the communities impacted by the company’s existence. The value
of these services result in companies that are better
corporate citizens, yet the true differentiator is that in the

costs while driving sales and genuine value.
Mr. Levin is principal of The SKAN Factor, a valuable tool in
assessing a company’s value to investors, VC firms, lenders
and even consumers who seek more clarity of choice in their
purchasing decision. As the "green dust" settles, with
corporations and consumers alike growing weary of the green
frenzy (known as Green Fatigue), demand has grown for clarity,
education and conscious assessment as the tools for measuring
a company's commitment to sustainability and the value that
may result from that commitment. Companies that are rated by
The SKAN Factor are continually monitored for changes in
sustainability initiatives as well potential environmental and
social risks that may affect a company's financial condition.
The SKAN Factor is a concise and convenient method of
analyzing a company's value in terms of sustainability as an
overlay to the assessment of stock, sales, earnings, industry
and other market trends.
Mr. Levin is also a dynamic speaker and TV personality.
Through his keynote program titled Zen and the Art of
Corporate Sustainability, Mr. Levin engages audiences of all
types in “deep contemplation” – or a place of higher
consciousness, inspiring sustainable thought and tapping
innovation and creativity. Mr. Levin also regularly appears on
